Our story begins in 1981 when Mike Douglas, driven by a vision to provide unparalleled HVAC services, founded Advent Air Conditioning Inc. in Lewisville, TX. Mike moved to Texas in 1980, seeking to build a new career in a new place. With a background rich in industry knowledge and a commitment to excellence, Mike set out to create a company that would not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Guided by the Christian principle of loving and serving others, Mike's vision was to create a company that embodied the values of faith, integrity, and compassion.

From the outset, Advent Air Conditioning distinguished itself through a steadfast commitment to quality and ethical business practices. We quickly became known for our reliable service, skilled workmanship, and customer-centric approach. Our dedication to doing the right thing for our customers, employees, and community earned us the prestigious BBB Torch Award for Ethics, making us the first HVAC company in North Texas to receive this honor. As it is written in Colossians 3:23 (ERV), "In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people."

As the years passed, Mike's vision continued to thrive, and the company grew in both size and reputation. In 2019, a significant leadership transition took place. Mike's son, Jared Douglas, who had been an integral part of the company for many years, was named President of Advent Air Conditioning. This transition marked a new chapter in our story, ensuring that the family legacy of excellence and integrity, grounded in Christian values, would continue for future generations.

In 2020, the world was hit by the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, bringing about significant challenges for businesses globally. Jared Douglas, newly at the helm, demonstrated remarkable leadership and resilience during this time. Under his guidance, Advent Air Conditioning implemented rigorous health and safety protocols to protect both employees and customers. Despite the uncertainties and operational challenges, Jared ensured that the company continued to provide essential HVAC services to the community, reinforcing our commitment to helping people get the most out of life, even in difficult times. In December 2021, Jared Douglas took a significant step in solidifying his commitment to the company and its future by purchasing Advent Air Conditioning Inc. This purchase marked a new era for the business, reinforcing the continuity of the family-owned legacy while also bringing fresh perspectives and renewed energy to the company.
