Job Title: Service Technician

Pay Scale: $23.00 to $30.00/hour

Primary Job Function: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience.

Reports to: Service Manager

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in Service of HVAC equipment.
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes.
  • Work from 28′ extension ladder and 12′ step ladder.
  • Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance.

Lead HVAC Installer

Job Title: Lead Installer

Work Hours:
 7:00am – 4:00pm with an hour lunch and overtime as needed.

Primary Job Function:
 To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high quality and timely job performance

Reports to: Installation Manager/Foreman

Required Qualifications:
 (MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST DURING THE INTERVIEW)
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems
• Able to train and supervise others
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surrounding
• General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems

Position Summary: To supervise the installation of assigned Residential New Construction jobs. Clear and concise communications with company clients, installation teams and management including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-time. Ensure industry leading installation through quality walks and on site installation inspections. Supervise material handling and safety guidelines are maintained

Residential New Construction Sales Person

Job Title: Residential New Construction Sales Person

Work Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, some weeknights and weekends

Primary Job Function: To present the company to potential contractor customers in a manner that leaves a favorable impression thereby obtaining sales for the company that are competitive and profitable. (MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST DURING THE INTERVIEW)

Reports to: Owner / Sales Manager

Daily Duties:

  1. Keep appointments with customers as scheduled.
  2. Meet with home owner and/or builder to discuss client needs, establish company value with client and set time for follow up presentation.
  3. Create estimates & proposal using company bidding and sales strategy, always offer customers options and upgrades to enhance their comfort system.
  4. When working with builders get all pre-sale information so that each home owner can be contacted regarding company’s builder upgrade program.
  5. Inform customer of all special promotions and offers available.
  6. Ask customers for permission to stake a job site sign when the job is sold.
  7. Develop and administer the builder upgrade program.
  8. Create an efficient layout and design of the comfort system.
  9. Continue to build the company’s builder base by contacting at least 3 new builders each week.
  10. Scan the Daily Journal of Commerce and permit listing sheet for upcoming home starts.
  11. Develop relationships with high-end custom homebuilders and architects and engineers.  Contact at least 2 new architects per week.
  12. Join and attend local Builder group, represent company in other local clubs or organizations.
  13. All jobs that are over $10,000 in size will have a pre-job meeting, per company policy.  Responsibilities include reviewing any and all special quotes, labor budgets and handing over all relevant project paperwork to the Installation Manager and RNC Field Supervisor.
  14. Turn in all required paperwork to the Sales Manager within 24 hours of being awarded work.  This includes all necessary notes, drawings etc., to adequately communicate the job to the operations department.
  15. Be available to answer questions that may arise.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Person

Job Title: Warehouse Person

Work Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week (hours may vary)

Pay Rate: $11 – $14 DOE

Position Summary: Responsible to make sure all jobs scheduled for the next day have all material and equipment pulled and staged for installers. List return material when necessary and return to stock. Responsible for all materials, supplies, etc. that leave the shop have been properly filled out on a material sheet.  List all overstocked items and give to Installation Coordinator for return to vendor. Check and put away stock orders. Maintain shop and yard in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist Installers in loading and unloading vans.  Pick-up and delivery needed parts to and from supply house, office and field staff

Required Qualifications: (MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST DURING THE INTERVIEW)

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience making repair and replace decisions.
  • Ability to acquire low voltage license within 2 years of employment.

Purchasing Agent
